ESCAPE TRAINING FOR:

VNA EMERGENCY ESCAPE - ACCESS PLATFORM EMERGENCY ESCAPE - EMERGENCY EVACUATION TRAINING

"Trucks that are designed to elevate the operator position more than 3000mm above ground level shall be provided with means by which the operator can reach the ground safely in the event of the operator position becoming fixed in the elevated position"

Such trucks are typically VNA's and MEWP's. Some of these machines are equipped with a rope evacuation system and where this is the case, training should be considered on the correct use of the system.

The Emergency Evacuation Escape courses we provide cater for 2 sessions per day with 3 trainees per session.

Our courses cover an introduction to the specific equipment as fitted to your machine followed by controlled escapes and descents from increasing heights.

We utilise evacuation systems that closely match those fitted to your machine, leaving your equipment intact for emergency use only.

All of our training is risk assessed, carried out to a safe system of work and uses back-up support systems. All of our equipment is inspected at least 6 monthly in accordance with LOLER Regulations and is conducted by an independent 3rd party.

The Health and Safety Executive have published an Operational Circular concerning 'Rope Evacuation from Mechanical Handling Equipment' which can be downloaded here.
